10 Things you can do before the new year

There’s less than 3 weeks to go, there is still time to make the most of this year and make it count!

1 – DO A HEALTH CHECK UP

When was the last time you went for a full body check up? or the dentist? I know we all tend to procrastinate these health appointments, but really the sense of relief once it’s done and piece of mind it’s well worth it. Your health is a priority that matters!

2- DE CLUTTER YOUR WARDROBE

Yes! I know it can be daunting at first, but it’s amazing how good it can make you feel to do a bit of cleaning and clearing of old items. Myself I keep seeing items I haven’t worn in years or that simply don’t spark joy in me. There is really no point holding on to them! Plus there’ll be more space for New Year’s fresh purchases 🙂

3- CLEAN UP YOUR INBOX

Free up some digital memory! Time for freedom and mental space!

4- GO SOMEWHERE YOU HAVEN’T BEEN YET

A new place in nature, a little holiday, even just a park or a restaurant… experience something new!

5- WATCH THE SUNRISE

This is one of my fauvorites! The energy of the early morning is so special, especially close to the New Year. There is something magical about sunrises, they are spiritual teachers. While the world is still sleeping, breathe the crisp air and feel the peace and tranquillity… every day is a new start!

6- HELP/ TALK TO / COMPLIMENT A STRANGER

I love chatting to strangers and finding ways of sharing moments when there is the opportunity to make a profound positive impact on people. You never know when a kind word or warm smile can transform someone’s day or even course of life… Remember, we are all connected and we all want to feel the love!

7- ATTUNE TO THE SPECIAL ENERGIES OF THE WINTER SEASON

This will help you stay in balance during the holidays. Remember during winter time we go more inward. Meditate even for only 5 mins in the morning. Take a hot bath. Light a candle. Do your best to get on Nature’s wintery program and chill out, stay calm and take it easy.

Stay present, be grateful.

8- DISCOVER A HIDDEN PASSION

Keep you eyes open for a symbol or object that reflects an inner part of you that longs to be expressed. Maybe you have a hidden passion for sewing? Designing? essential Oils? It doesn’t have to become your new job, sometimes it’s enough to give permission to yourself to explore and wake up that hidden side of you!

9- GET THE CARE YOU DESERVE

This is a perfect time to relax and renew mind and body. Book a massage, a facial, or why not a fresh new color or cut from a professional hairstylist? This may seem like a luxury but trust me, you’ll be so glad to take good care of your wellbeing!  

10- SET AN INTENTION FOR 2017

We want to constantly be moving in the direction of our big visions, goals and intentions for our lives. It really doesn’t have to be a resolution list; it can look however you want it to. For me, I intend to organize my new home, up-level my self-love and self-care, travel more with who I love and go forward in my work. To make that a reality, forward thinking helps to make decisions along the way that will impact the future.
