We are what we eat guys, it’s as simple as that. When we make determined food choices, we know we are aligning our vibration either to elevate it with light or lower it with density.

There are light and dense foods; fruit and veggies are light foods, while processed foods, wheat, dairy, meat, sugar and alcohol are dense foods.

I’m not a nutritionist, but I have read a lot of books about this and I can tell by my experiences and the many people I’ve met on my detox journey, that when you are consuming light foods it’s so much easier to stay close to your spiritual essence than when eating dense food.

We can emanate light through food choices and the benefits of staying on this path are many; you feel radiant, joyful, energetic and you literally glow!

In the same way as light foods bring you lighter sensations and laughter, dense foods bring you to heavy feelings such as depression, anxiety, fear and nervousness.

So considering these light foods that nourish our body, we realize that we should eat everyday lots of fruit and vegetables in order to fuel our body with all the right nutrients and vitamins. I personally find it difficult to ingest large quantities of fruit and veggies per day by chewing them, so I think juicing is an excellent solution for getting more of that natural goodness. You can also do it as a detox and just have juices for some time.

Have you ever tried it? At first the green color may seem a bit discouraging but it actually tastes great with a little bit of lemon and ginger and a few apples…. yum! it’s literally like ingesting liquid light!

The difference within a smoothie and a juice is that a juice is done with a juice extractor that extracts the pulp and the juice separately. The drink is great compared to a smoothie because all the nutrients are there but we’ve removed the fiber so the stomach doesn’t have to do any digesting work, and can just focus on eliminating the toxins. The nutrients will be immediately absorbed into your blood stream. You can juice any plant! Amazing, eh? Juicing is an incredible healing method and your body will thank you for it!

I have some incredible recipes to share with you as well. All you need is a juicer and a bunch of preferably organic fruit and veggies! here are my favorites, you won’t believe how good they are!

2 apples
2 stalks of celery
2 handfuls of spinach

Fruits and veggies

1/2 fennel bulb
1 cucumber
a small piece of ginger
1/2 a lemon, peeled

2 pears
2 stalks celery
1 cucumber
1 lemon
1 piece of ginger
handful of spinach

2 cups of pineapple
stems of mint
1 cup dark leafy greens
1 tablespoon fresh genuine aloe

2 cups tomatoes
1 stalk celery
half a lemon
salt, pepper to taste
1 teaspoon soy sauce

Enjoy with plenty of ice cubes 🙂 🙂
